SDBA proudly announced its new large group health insurance
plan with five deductible options to choose from last year.
A Multiple Employer Trust (MEWA) was developed because the
cost of health care continues to rise and the ability to
obtain affordable health insurance has become more difficult.
As an SDBA member you now have a way to provide your employees
with the coverage they want at a price everyone can afford.
This is a
unique opportunity for all SDBA members to join together and
form a buying coalition to purchase employee benefits. Over 30
state bankers associations across the nation have run
successful health insurance plans; some have been in existence
for over 50 years. Large group plans provide member banks with
buying power to purchase products and services available only
in the large group environment.
