SDBA Safety and Soundness Print Advertisement

To help you communicate with customers during the current economic crisis, the SDBA will run the following print advertisement in the 11 South Dakota daily newspapers on Friday, October 17. The quarter-page, black-and-white print advertisement reminds consumers that South Dakota banks are safe, strong and customer-focused and that accounts are FDIC insured. The advertisement will run in the Aberdeen American News, Brookings Register, Huron Plainsman, Black Hill Pioneer in Spearfish, Madison Daily Leader, Mitchell Daily Republic, Pierre Capital Journal, Rapid City Journal, Sioux Falls Argus Leader, Watertown Public Opinion and Yankton Daily Press & Dakotan.

We know that some of you have already ran advertisements in your local newspapers. If you haven’t already done so, we encourage you to run the advertisement in your local newspaper at your expense. In markets that are competitive, we encourage all banks to work together in a cooperative ad that shows industry unity.

The ad is available in both color and black and white. You can either run the ad with the SDBA’s logo at the bottom or a version is available for you to substitute your bank’s information at the bottom. If you need the ad resized to a particular ad size, please contact Alisa DeMers with the SDBA by email or call (800) 726-7322 and she will assist you.
